We produce plate flanges as per ANSI B16.5, DIN Standard and EN1092-1 in size range of 1/2” to 24” NPS. We can also produce and supply plate flanges for high pressure and high temperature applications. We produce plate flanges in carbon steel, stainless steel, high nickel alloys, duplex/super duplex, copper nickel, titanium and special alloys.

Our manufacturing process for plate flanges includes an adequate heat treatment and the examination of chemical and mechanical properties. We have CNC machines as well as conventional lathe machines for machining and processing various types of plate flanges/plain flanges.

Plate flanges are generally made from forged bar stock. The raw materials used for manufacturing plate flanges include raw round bar of diameter size 20~400mm OD or billets for large size flanges.

What is a Plate Flange/Plain Flange: Plain flange (plate flange) is also called flat flange, plate slip on flange or a ring flange. It looks like a flat circular disk with inner bore and bolt holes on it. It is one kind of the slip on flange.
The Joint Between Plate Flange and Pipe: The plate flange slip over the pipe and the inner hole of plate flange is a little bigger than the pipe outer diameter. plate flanges are secured to the pipe with a fillet weld at the bottom and the top of flanges with the pipes. The welding method is fillet weld, so the plate flange is not suitable for a high pressure application.
Sealing Face of a Plate Flange: Though the plate flange means the flange is like a flat plate, it could be raised face (RF) sealing face, commonly the plate flange could be RF or FF face, the raised face plain flange is much popular in regular industry systems.
